Celebrating Easter

The Easter Triduum encapsulates the Paschal Mystery of Salvation: from the night of the Last Supper through to the conquering of death

in the glory of the Resurrection.

The Triduum begins on Holy Thursday with the evening celebration of

the Lord's Supper;

 is continued through Good Friday with the celebration of the

Passion of the Lord, with its high point in the Easter vigil;

and concludes with evening prayer on Easter Sunday.

Liturgical time follows biblical time of sunset to sunset to denote a day. Thus the Triduum [Three Days] runs from sunset on Holy Thursday to sunset on

Easter Sunday.

Holy Thursday:    The Celebration of the Lord’s Supper at 7pm

Good Friday:       Community Lunch at 12.30pm

                                 The Lord’s Passion at 2pm

                                 The Way of the Cross at 7pm

                                 Youth Vigil from 9pm to 7am

Holy Saturday:     Service of Tenebrae at 10am

          Easter Vigil at 7pm

Easter Sunday:      Easter Morning Eucharist at 10.30am

                                   Easter Sunday Munch at 12.30pm

Rejoice!

The Lord has risen!

Alleluia!
